Shots Fired on Sutherland Road in Owensboro

Authorities are on the scene in the Sutherland Road area of Owensboro where gunshots were reportedly fired earlier this afternoon.

14News/WFIE spoke to the Daviess County Sheriff's Department who called it an "ongoing situation."

Kentucky State Police are also on hand to assist in the investigation and it's been reported that an ambulance has left the crime scene.
