If you have been on the east side of Owensboro in the last couple of days, you likely have already noticed this.  There's another new retail location in the Gateway Commons development.  It's a Spectrum Store.

I am a Spectrum customer and I gotta say, this is pretty good news.  Spectrum's parent company, Charter Communications, has announced the opening of a new Spectrum Store here in Owensboro.  In fact, the old customer service center out on the west side of town (off U.S. 60 W) is moving to this brand new site.

The new Spectrum is located at 2954 Calumet Trace near the Malco Owensboro Cinema Grill.  In addition to offering mobile products and all related services, the new Spectrum store allows customers to make payments, switch out equipment and get demos of Spectrum's high-speed internet.

Speaking of their internet services, I have been a Spectrum internet customer for years.  Trust me when I tell you, I wear my WiFi out on a monthly basis between working, combing through social media and streaming Hulu and HBO Max and Netflix.  I'm surprised by modem hasn't exploded.  Of course, if it does, I'll know where to go!

The hours of operation at the new location are Monday through Saturday 10am to 8pm and Sunday from Noon to 5pm.  The new Owensboro location is the company's 14th new or remodeled location opened in Kentucky over the last two years.
