Bald Eagles

An Owensboro photographer was able to snap these beautiful pictures while observing some bald eagles by their nest on the river.

A camera has been situated in a tree along the Monongahela River in Pittsburgh since 2013 capturing two Eagles lay and hatch their eggs through all kinds of winter weather each year. It's become a tradition to monitor the events unfold. Here's where you can watch too -->

I grew up with Eagles, my high school mascot. However, I have maybe only seen a real one once or twice. What surprised me, even more, is that spotting an eagle in Kentucky is extremely rare, until now.
