Kentucky Basketball

The NBA is gaining three Kentucky Wildcats. Jamal Murray was drafted at number seven by the Denver Nuggets. UK had more players drafted than any other team and the SEC had seven players drafted overall just edged out by the ACC with eight being picked.

The University of Kentucky basketball team is losing one of their big men. Junior Marcus Lee has announced he is both withdrawing his name from the NBA Draft, and he is transferring.

Now that the season is over, a couple of now former UK players are making the rounds to greet fans and say thank you. Kyle Wiltjer, who transferred to Gonzaga after his sophomore season will be in Bowling Green this Thursday night to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Bowling Green Hot Rods home opener.
