Thunderstorm Brings Major Flash Flooding to Downtown Owensboro [Video]

We just had a major thunderstorm here in Owensboro-Daviess County and the rain caused major flash flooding downtown.  We have video!

Katie Pounds was headed downtown to help out with Friday After 5 and managed to get these videos of the flooding . . .

For several consecutive days, the tristate has endured pop up thunderstorms that have brought wind and lightning damage and heavy rain to the area.  A daily chance of showers and thunderstorms exists through the early part of next week due.
