WBKR and Susan G. Komen Bowl For The Cure!

Here at WBKR, we are lacing up our bowling shoes and getting ready for the Susan G. Komen Bowl For The Cure!  It is Thursday, August 2nd and Friday, August 3rd at Diamond Lanes South here in Owensboro.  This will be the 4th consecutive year that WBKR has been a media sponsor for the event and the 4th consecutive year we have fielded a really EMBARRASSING team of wannabe bowlers.  But, heck!  It's all for a great cause, right?  To find out how you can field a team and help Susan G. To join the Susan G. Komen Bowl for the Cure just round up a team!  Bowlers, non-bowlers, corporate teams and families can get in on the action.  Entry fees are as follows: $25 per adult (ages 13 & older), $12.00 per child (12 & under).  A maximum of five individuals may bowl per lane and at least one adult entry must bowl on each lane.

Your entry fee entitles you to:  two games of bowling, shoe rental, an Owensboro Bowl for the Cure t-shirt and a chance to win door prizes!

The deadline to enter is July 27th, 2012.  Please send official entries (including names, ages, and t-shirt sizes) to the following . . .
