This is the sweetest thing you'll hear all day! Western Kentucky Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation are taking care of baby squirrels, displaced from the storm, that rolled through the tri-state yesterday (March 14th, 2019). They're Angels sent from above.

You'll need to check your yards, for fallen trees, in case a baby squirrel is in need. The winds destroyed many of their homes yesterday and they need us. A baby squirrel is easy to detect as they have high pitched cries. They also have black toe nails. If you find a baby squirrel, please contact Western Kentucky Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation right away! I talked to them this morning and many calls are already coming in. They want to save these precious babies. You can contact them at this number 270) 345-2442.

This also goes for baby raccoons that may also be displaced after the storm..
