What Exactly Do Certain Bug Bites LOOK Like? [PHOTOS]

The recent increased frequency of the types of insects that can cause far more damage with their bite than it seems like they USED to leads me to wonder how many of us know, for certain, what different bug bites look like.

It's a good question.

So is, "What does that look like that to you?"

How many times have you been asked that? How many times have YOU asked that?

You'd think you'd know if you got bit by an insect or a spider, but that isn't necessarily the case.

Let's start with bedbugs (this blog's gonna make me itch, I can tell):

So, that's unpleasant. Next up we have spider bites:

The spider, in this case, isn't identified, but I'm on record as wanting NOTHING to do with any kind of spider bite. I'm good.

Now here's a tick bite (how fun is this?):

Ah, there's nothing like blogging while dealing with a healthy case of the heebie jeebies. Okay, now for wasp and bee stings. I bet you'd DEFINITELY remember getting these unless they stung, say, your HAIR:

And, finally, the most common summertime bug bite...the mosquito. And now that they carry more diseases than seemingly ever before, always take these seriously:

Along with them being pretty common, mosquito bites are probably the easiest to recognize as well.
