Here’s How You Can Win Tickets to the 2023 Kentucky State Fair in Louisville

The 2023 Kentucky State Fair gets underway Thursday, August 17th and we're celebrating here at WBKR. We have a 20+ year tradition of broadcasting live on opening day and this year will be no different. My morning show co-host Mary-Katherine Maddox and I will be broadcasting live from the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center from 9am to 7pm CST on Thursday and bringing you all the highlights of the fair- the exhibits, the animals, the concerts, food, fun and, of course, this guy- Freddie Farm Bureau.

I mentioned the concerts and they're definitely worth repeating. This year's Texas Roadhouse Concert Series lineup is sensational. Country music star CHRIS JANSON will kick things off on Thursday evening.

While that FREE series features artists from a variety of genres, there's plenty of country music on tap.

While Chris Janson kicks things off on opening day, THE OAK RIDGE BOYS will take the stage on Sunday, August 20th.

And EDDIE MONTGOMERY and LONESTAR will take the stage on Friday, August 25th!
