It didn't take Old Man Winter long to show up.  The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for parts of the tristate this afternoon and evening.

According to the National Weather Service the Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 3pm Monday through midnight.  Here are the details:

Snow is expected. Total snow accumulations of one to two inches are likely in the areas shaded purple. (Some higher accumulations are possible in certain areas of the tristate).

In addition to accumulating snow, we're expecting winds gusting as high as 25 to 35 mph.  The wind will cause wind chills to dip down into the lower digits.  In fact, Eyewitness News Meteorologist Ron Rhodes says the wind chill could be ZERO Tuesday morning.  Brrrrr . . .
