The Academy of County Music Awards will air Sunday, April 7th on CBS in Vegas! With my boyfriend Luke Bryan and funny-guy Blake Shelton hosting, I didn't think I could get any more excited about the show! Well, I was wrong!

People.com reported on Wednesday that two country megastars will be performing together at the show for the first time ever! These artists are the two most recent winners of the ACM Artist of the Decade Awards.

Today, the performance of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl is just as big a media spectacle as the half-time show and the game itself. Huge stars are asked to deliver rousing renditions of "The Star-Spangled Banner" as the whole world watches to see if they mess up the words, lip-synch or perform live. In the last few years, we have seen amazing renditions by Kelly Clarkson, The Dixie Chicks, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill and Jennifer Hudson. Way back in 1993, even Garth Brooks stepped up and swung for the fences. But, historically, there have been some STRANGE choices and some really bizarre renditions at The Big Game. WATCH!

"Garth Brooks had a song that wasn't a hit?" He sure did. It was "When You Come Back to Me Again," which peaked at a disappointing #21 on the Billboard Country Chart. How on Earth was that possible? Regina Regina Regina Howard, The WBKR Waking Crew's resident "nut," called in Monday morning to request a song. She wanted to hear Scotty McCreery's version of 'The Dance" by Garth Brooks. In 1994 when Garth Brooks was 32 years old, WBKR was doing a Garth-a-thon to bring Garth Brooks in concert and it payed off big time! Garth scheduled 3 shows at Roberts Stadium February of 1994.

The three shows sold out in one hour and 22 minutes, I was lucky enough to see Garth in concert back then and to this day it's one of the best concerts I have ever seen!

Last night was the final concert at Roberts Stadium in Evansville, Indiana with Kenny Chesney & Uncle Kracker. Roberts Stadium has been a landmark in Evansville since 1956 with visits from Presidents, Elvis Presley, WWE, monster trucks, baskeball games, rodeos, The Harlem Globetrotters, boxing, superstars like Garth Brooks was there in the 90's & WBKR played a major part Garth being there, I've seen Hank Williams Jr. numerous times at Roberts Stadium.
