Meet the Finalists for WBKR's 2024 Friday Night Fight Contest

College basketball has its version of the Final Four and so does WBKR's Friday Night Fight talent contest. The event- sponsored by the Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center and Friday After 5- will have its grand finale on Friday, July 12th on the stage behind the Owensboro Convention Center. That evening, our four finalists will take the stage in a series of head-to-head battles until just one act is left standing. That act will be crowned the champions and will receive the grand prize of $1500 and the right to headline stages at two different events. Our 2024 grand champs will headline the Overlook Stage at Friday After 5 on Friday, August 2nd. Plus, they will headline a stage at Dock Trot 2024 in Muhlenberg County.

On Friday, July 12th at 6pm, our four finalists will take the stage to perform. By the end of the night, the four acts will be narrowed down to one by our celebrity panel of judges. Our 2024 grand champion will then be back at Friday After 5 on Friday, August 2nd, to headline the Overlook Stage from 8pm to 10pm.

Then, on Saturday, September 14th, our winners will be taking the stage at Dock Trot at Lake Malone in Muhlenberg County. That event features live music around the lake and boaters can cruise around from stage to stage to hear an incredible variety of performers. Live music gets underway at 2pm that afternoon and carries on through 7:30pm.
