How cold the winter will get in the Tri-State is anyone's guess. I mean, October started with temps in the mid-90's and ended with them in the low 40's, so there's no telling what December through March has in store. If the Farmer's Almanac is accurate, it looks like we're in for a pretty chilly, if not down right freezing, few months. Fortunately, many of us have the means to at least try and keep ourselves shielded from the elements by bundling up in hats, coats, scarves, gloves, sweatshirts, etc. For many kids in the Tri-State, that's not the case. However, you can help change that.

Join us this Friday (November 8th) as we team up with Audubon Chrysler Center for the 2nd annual Kids Clothing Drive from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Walmart in Henderson to accept your donations of the following items for kids who's families can't afford them:

  • Hats
  • Scarves
  • Gloves
  • Coats
  • Thermal Undergarments
  • Socks
  • Sweaters

Audubon will also have your chance to win great prizes including Walmart gift cards, oil changes, a seven day resort vacation, and more.

Your donation will be turned over to the Henderson County Schools for distribution to those students who need them this year.
