The 92 Qualifiers for WBKR's Six Pack Summer Contest

Today's the big day! It's Grand Prize Giveaway Day for our contest 6-Pack Summer. Barb Birgy and I will be going live at 9am on the WBKR Facebook page to find out which of our 92 qualifiers will walk away with our incredible grand prize package. More on that in a second.

Now, here's how the grand prize giveaway is going to work. We snagged the BINGO machine from the Senior Center here in Owensboro.

A big shout out to their generosity, by the way. We have 92 numbered balls (that correspond with our numbered coolers) in that machine and, starting at 9am, the machine will start spitting them out. The last ball remaining . . . the final one to be revealed . . . will be declared the winner. And the person with that number is going to walk away with an incredible prize package.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
