Three of the biggest music festivals in Kentucky, Hometown Rising, Louder Than Life, and Bourbon & Beyond, are being cancelled for this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Although the festivals were all scheduled to take place on back-to-back-back weekends in September, the planning of the three so close together plus health officials' advice determined the event planner's course of action.

Fans will get full refunds and they will be notified of their options next week. Festival organizers hope to bring back most of the 2020 lineups for 2021.
