Folks are waking up to snow this morning thanks to a winter storm that dumped several inches of snow across the tristate and forced school closings throughout the WBKR listening area.  And we're not going to have much time to recover from it.  The National Weather Service says another winter blast is approaching and it could be even stronger.

While complete details of the next system haven't been hammered out, the NWS has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the tristate that says:

A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING A WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION AND STRONG WINDS TO THE REGION THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. AT THIS TIME...THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR SUBSTANTIAL ACCUMULATIONS OF ICE AND SNOW.
