We have been enjoying some pretty mild fall weather the past few weeks. However, I did have to finally turn my heat on this weekend. I held out for as long as I could, but my teeth started to chatter, so I gave in. And good thing I did, because our weather is only going to get colder as we approach December.

While today is going to be dreary, at least the high will be in the mid-60s. We'll probably see some rain later today as well. Then, things take a huge turn and the temperature will dip down to freezing by the end of the week.

It's looking sunny for tomorrow with mid to upper 40s for the high. If you have any last-minute yard work or outdoor chores to do, you better get out and make it happen before next week, or else you'll be freezing your buns off hanging those Christmas lights.

Wednesday is looking to be a rainy and gross travel day as folks make their way home for Thanksgiving. The worst of it will probably be later in the afternoon, so hopefully you will make it where you need to be before it gets too soggy and cold. With a high temp in the lower 50s and low in the upper 30s.

Now Thanksgiving day we will all be very glad to stay inside and help cook for the Holiday. A chilly, rainy, cloudy -ugh- just overall nasty kinda day outside. Perfect for watching football, eating good food, hanging with family, and taking a nap. We should also officially see our first hard frost of the season on Thursday night.

Just a bitter cold end to the week as temperatures dip down into the 20s for the weekend. Everybody better bundle up for Black Friday shopping! Then, next Monday's low is expected to be only 19 degrees as December begins. I'm shivering already! Did you see the "S-word" on that forecast up there? Slight snow chances for the weekend.
