Order Up Some Holiday Joy: The Bike Drive is Back at Kim’s Diner!
It’s that time again. Let the Christmas Wish Bike Drive 2025 begin! The elves are stretching, the reindeer are doing squats, and we’re all geared up to roll out the joy! Last year, we were amazed by the number of bikes the community collected. Let’s do it again and make sure every child wakes up to some pedal-powered magic this Christmas morning!

While many kiddos dream of cruising the streets on their very own bike, sometimes Santa needs a little help making those wishes come true. That’s where you come in! Every year, thanks to your big hearts and even bigger generosity, I’ve seen absolute Christmas magic happen. The way this community shows up? It’s nothing short of a holiday miracle, turning dreams into memories and sidewalks into racetracks of joy.

Last year, Kim’s Diner in Owensboro pulled off a Christmas miracle by gathering a huge number of bikes in just a short amount of time! This year, they’re getting a head start to make an even bigger impact. If you'd rather donate cash, no problem, Kim and her team will either buy bikes or send the funds directly to Christmas Wish (last year, nearly $1,000 was raised!). All bikes will be turned in on December 1st, so there’s still time to help! Donations of new bikes or cash can be dropped off at Kim’s Diner, 1212 East 18th Street in Owensboro. Let’s make this the best year yet!

For every 5 new bikes donated, Kim’s Diner will generously match with 1 additional bike! If you’re a customer or a local small business interested in donating, please reach out to Kim in advance so she can be at the diner to personally thank you and take a photo with you and the bike.

Doesn’t every child deserve to find a bike under the tree from Santa at least once in their lifetime? We believe the answer is a resounding yes! Every child should experience the joy and excitement that comes with such a special gift. Looking Back
Because of your incredible efforts and generosity, last season, 1,946 families were able to celebrate Christmas. Thanks to you, almost 8,000 children woke up to presents under the tree, and more than 50,000 gifts were distributed.
