Blake Shelton Admits to What He Expects at CMA Awards in Wake of Divorce
Perhaps the biggest country music story of the year was the Blake Shelton/Miranda Lambert divorce. With that in mind, look what happens on November 4th.
Yep, the 49th Annual CMA Awards, which will open with timely comedy from perennial co-hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.
On Tuesday night's episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, guest Blake Shelton admitted that there's no way there won't be a joke about Miranda and him:
Blake calls it the "elephant in the room." He's probably right. So what happens if there is a good-hearted jab at the recently divorced superstars?
Will that country music family--and that's what it is; Blake's right--get it and laugh along, or will there be a little discomfort?
OR...will Brad and Carrie avoid the topic altogether?
We'll find out Wednesday night.
