Breaking News: Owensboro Man Charged In Connection With Several Local Arson Cases [PHOTO]
The Owensboro Police Department finally catch a break in several arson cases from 2016 plus others on Valentine's Day. On Tuesday, February 14, 2017 the Owensboro Police Department responded to a dumpster fire at Kroger Grocery Store, 1670 Starlite Drive and a vehicle fire at Good Shepherd Church, 3031 Bittel Road.
A K-9 unit was released to track the suspect and located Gary W. Milam on the greenbelt. Detectives arrested Milam after questioning him. He was arrested for the two fires as well as six additional arson cases from 2016. He is currently lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.

Case# 16-99976 – three vehicle fires (2200 block Yates Dr/2300 block Sir Wren Ct./4100 block Buckland Square)
Case# 16-99995 – shed on fire (2300 block Bulfinch Ave.)
Arrested: Gary W. Milam W/M/18 3900 block Buckland Square Owensboro, KY 42301 Charges – (8 counts) Arson, 2nd Degree – Class B Felony
