Carrie Underwood Supporting 100 Girls Sports Teams This Month

Country superstar, Carrie Underwood, has chosen to support girls sports team throughout May. Carrie's fitness and lifestyle brand, "Calla", is patterning with Dick's Sporting Goods to donate $200,000 to girls teams throughout the country. Carrie said, "Sports were a big part of my life growing up, so it's important to me that girls across the country get those same opportunities." . Underwood went on to say, "I hope the cause empowers hunderieds of girls to learn, grow,and dream.

In addition to being a huge supporter of youth sports, Carrie, who is the wife of Nashville Predators player, Mike Fisher, has been the Preds biggest fan during their playoff run. The Predators are up 1-0 in the NHL Western Conference Finals.
