The big question is... can you inflate a balloon without any air from your mouth?  Or a helium tank for that matter. Chad recently watched a video on BuzzFeed that showed him that if you put a balloon full of salt over top of a Coca-Cola bottle it will inflate by itself.  Let's see what happens when the CB Radio Show tries it out.

We set up the table by the van got a couple sodas and some balloons and a thing of salt and our science experiment began.  We first filled the balloon up with salt.  We weren't sure how much salt to use so we just used a very little amount.  Then we put the balloon over the top of the bottle, lifted the balloon vertically so the salt would fall in, and presto... it started inflating itself.  Its science ladies and gentlemen.

Salt contains crystals that will chemically react with the carbon inside of the soda causing it to go no where but... up.  In this case, right up into the balloon that we placed above the bottle. Instead of using the air from our bodies... we created our own.

Check it out.
