Let’s Ride! Motorcycle Benefit Will Help Christmas Wish

As Christmas Wish looks ahead to its 50th Anniversary season, the work has already begun, and so has the fundraising that makes it all possible!

Last Christmas, thanks to our community's incredible generosity, Christmas Wish helped nearly 8,000 local children experience a little extra Christmas magic.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because people in our community keep finding new and creative ways to give back.

It's Time to Ride for Christmas Wish

On Sunday, October 4th, Matthew's Table Church will host a Benefit Motorcycle Ride for Christmas Wish.

They want to launch a new tradition and make this motorcycle ride an annual fundraiser to support local families through Christmas Wish.

Every November, I read letters on the air from local families who need a hand making Christmas happen. Times are tough for many people right now. The cost of nearly everything has gone up, hurting household budgets during the holidays.

Every dollar raised from this ride stays right here in our community and goes directly toward purchasing gifts for families whose Christmas Wish letters are selected.

You don't even have to ride a motorcycle to be part of the fun! Starting at 12:30 p.m., they'll serve pulled pork sandwiches, chips, and a drink for just $5 (while supplies last). Every penny from food sales goes straight toward helping local kids.

Plus, there will be raffle items, silent auction items, and a 50/50 drawing!
