The weather outside is not too bad—it's not cold or freezing. I bet you and your family have chowed down on multiple bowls of chili.

I'm not a fan of chili. I will eat it, but I prefer something other than the standard recipe. I detest beans! I know you can leave them out. Chili is not my go-to winter-weather food. I'm one of those who prefers spaghetti noodles in her chili and throws some grated cheese on top. I'm also not a fan of chili dogs.

However, if you like chili, cheese, and hot dogs, you've had the Cincinnati Skyline Chili. Their recipe consists of:

"ground beef, water or stock, tomato paste, spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, clove, cumin, chili powder, and bay leaf in a soupy consistency. The dish does not contain chocolate, despite popular myths to the contrary. Customary toppings include cheddar cheese, onions, and beans; specific combinations of toppings are known as "ways". The most popular order is a "three-way", which adds shredded cheese to the chili-topped spaghetti (a "two-way"), while a "four-way" or "five-way" adds onions and/or beans before topping with the cheese. Ways are often served with oyster crackers and a mild hot sauce. Cincinnati chili is rarely served or eaten by the bowl."

Now, imagine all these ingredients in vanilla ice cream. There have been many wacky ice cream flavors and collaborations but this is a new level of creativity or madness.

Graeter's Skyline Chili Ice Cream will be available this Monday, January 27th. Or if you want to drop in a Graeter's Ice Cream shop, you can find many locations in Cincinnati and at multiple locations in Louisville and Lexington. It's not been said yet if the ice cream will be available in stores, but I bet they will be at stores in the cities listed above.

Would you try it? I would.
