Summertime heatwaves, like the one we just endured, always have me longing for the cooler temperatures of fall, my favorite season. The thing is, this particular heatwave happened during the first official week of summer; I'd rather not start longing for fall until at least the end of July. But it is what it is.

Yes, we're here, and, at the risk of wishing time would speed up (it's moving too fast as it is), I'm ready for fall weather and any festivals on the calendar. You see, in autumn, and specifically in October (the best month), I might just attend any type of festival, as long as it's outdoors. And, according to my calculations, you really can't do a giant corn maze indoors. Then, you throw in beer, and, well...SOLD.

Corn Maze Beer Fest

Let's begin with my affinity for corn mazes. I am tall, so I have walked through mazes made of, say, shrubbery that I could see over. That's why corn mazes are perfect. And in Columbus, Indiana, the perfect October corn maze festival comes fully equipped with lots of beer. Folks are already securing their spot in the field for the Corn Maze Beer Fest 2025 this October 4th. They've been prepping the "venue," and it should be ready to go by October.

What You'll See at the Corn Maze Beer Fest

Listen, this is not just corn and beer. Yes, there will be tons of food trucks (I'm sure corn will play a part) and beer from 110 breweries and distilleries. Plenty of live music and merchandise booths will keep you entertained. A shuttle service will be available, so parking won't be an enormous concern.

As a matter of fact, there should be no concerns. We're talking about a massive corn maze festival with lots of beer and music. Concerns should be left out on the road you drive in on.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
