Daviess County Conservation District To Give Away Free Tree Seedlings

In honor of Arbor Day, the Daviess County Conservation District is giving away free tree seedlings. The trees will be available to the public Thursday, April 12^th between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. and if any trees remaining Friday, April 13^th 8 a.m. till noon at the Conservation District office located at 3032 Alvey Park Drive West, Owensboro.

The kind of seedlings available include: Southern Red Oak, Flowering Dogwood, Pawpaw, Yellow Poplar, Persimmon, Shumard Oak, and Pin Oak. Seedlings will be distributed on a first come basis.
