Daviess County Home to New Noble Roman’s Pizza [MENU]
Do you remember when Noble Roman's was located in Wesleyan Park Plaza in Owensboro? Their pizza, sub sandwiches, breadsticks, and cheese sauce. Now you can drive just five minutes outside of Owensboro and get that slice of nostalgia! We have the menu from the brand new Noble Roman's right here.
When I first moved to Owensboro back in 1994 everyone raved about Noble Roman's. I went there a few times and what I remember the most was the breadsticks and cheese sauce. It was cool that they had a platform with a glass window so you could watch them make your pizza. Not only watch, but they would toss the pizza dough around to entertain the kids. It was pretty cool. They also would show black & white cartoons/movies from a projector on the wall. It was dinner and an experience! Then the restaurant closed and never reopened. If you wanted your Noble Roman's fix, you had to drive to Evansville, but not anymore!
Masonville Food Mart Home to a Brand-New Noble Roman's
The Masonville Food Mart is home to a brand-new Noble Roman's and the pizza is really good. We got a pizza yesterday from there and, although it wasn't exactly as we remembered, it was very tasty. The cheese sauce is still the same, but my favorite part was the pizza sauce. Yes, the pizza sauce! I'm not a big fan of pizza that has way too much sauce or not enough. I like the perfect amount to compliment the cheese, meat, and crust. It's just a few minutes outside of Owensboro down US-231.
