A Wild Deer Practically Destroys a Tennessee Christmas Store
What's the deal with hooved mammals and their shopping issues? (In a million years, I wouldn't have guessed I'd ever ask a question like that.)
Hooved Mammals Wrecking Shops and Stores
If you do a specific enough search on any video platform, you're going to find clips of animals freaking out and laying waste to retail establishments. They may be fascinating, but there's a terrified animal at the heart of all of them. I do, however, wonder how it happens so often. Recently, at a Marshall's in New Jersey, "Rudolph" went rogue.
Outside of pet supply stores, the only animals I've ever seen in stores are service animals. I've never had an encounter like that one or like this one in Colombia. Considering the creature in question, this was a much more serious situation, and in a much smaller space. Oh, I almost forgot about the second cow.
Okay...cue the next deer.
Deer Practically Destroys a Tennessee Christmas Store
Much closer to home, we have another deer, this time in Jonesborough, Tennessee, that made its way into a Christmas store and did way more than just "deck the halls."
First of all, it's not a reindeer, but I get why that's there. It's Christmas. Second, the deer was not harmed and was escorted safely out of the building after getting stuck in a chair.
You know, I've seen more and more creatures of the wild (well, they used to be of the wild) within the city limits here in Owensboro. Fortunately for them and us, they have yet to do a lap inside one of our merchants' businesses. And for that, we (us and the animals) can all be thankful.
