If you regularly watch Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear's daily COVID-19 updates, you know his ASL interpreter Virginia Moore and how important it is to get all of the critical updates and information out to our fellow deaf and hard of hearing Kentuckians.

One Eastern Kentucky University student is using her #HealthyAtHome time to make special masks for those who have deaf and hard of hearing family and friends.

It's important for the deaf and hard of hearing to read lips when possible. Ashley Lawrence is also working on masks for those with hearing aids and cochlear implants so that they don't have to go around the ears.

For now, Ashley's special masks are free and you can order one by emailing her dhhmaskproject@gmail.com. She also hopes to have a tutorial on YouTube for making the masks very soon.
