Erin Envies This Homemade Louisville Lamp [PHOTOS]

I as much as anyone is looking forward to the big Kentucky/Louisville game Saturday and my sister and my Mom got new presents to get them fired up, so to speak.

Here's what happened, we were all having breakfast at my sister and my brother-in-law's house Christmas Day when someone knocked at the side door. I recall Mom saying as we pulled in, "I forgot Karen's gift!" Karen is our cousin on Mom's side and she just happens to live next door to Hillary, Bobby, and Zoey. Plus, she's worked as an UPS driver for over 25 years, and she was delivering gifts on Christmas Eve. So Karen bops in with her arms full of gifts for everyone. I take this opportunity to point out Karen is bleeding blue UK fan. She got my niece a Louisville Santa hat, not sure what Dad and my brother-in-law got, Mom and Hillary got the lamps. Karen said she found this woman who makes them...I got this.

I don't object, but if anyone saw WKU's bowl game the other day, I'm not sure I would've accepted this, I'm kidding, but WKU is glad they got the win. Central Michigan, after their unbelievable comeback, failed on a last second 2-point conversion. Of course Karen proceeded to ask me if I wanted a Louisville lamp, I don't think I gave her answer. I definitely think it would fit in with my eclectic home decor. I'm hoping the lamps don't turn into a tiki doll like curse on Louisville. They also have a bowl game coming up next Wednesday against Georgia. My prediction on the basketball game? It could go either way, but I think Louisville will be able to put more points on the board than UCLA did.
