Fixin’ Fannie The Fleetwood – Reconnecting the Exhaust Take One

Fannie the Fleetwood is pretty trashed but she still runs and shifts like a dream.  It's also very loud.  When I slid into the telephone pole one of the exhaust pipes came undone right at the converter and it sounds like insanity.  I think I have the solution. 

It's just a shot in the dark but let's see if this works.  I found an exhaust tip in my cabinet and I figured that if I could just slip this over the broken part and hook it over the other end of the broken piece it should be as quiet as a mouse rolling down the road.

The pipe is exactly the same size as the pipe under the car so it wont exactly go over top of it very easily.  This means that we have to get a new pipe!
