Fourth Annual Providence Literary Festival Coming November 4th
It's back, and this is year four for The Providence Literary Festival. This year's festival will feature dozens of local and regional authors in various genres. This year's headliner is one of the most prolific science fiction and fantasy authors working today.
New York native Keith DeCandido writes comic books, novels, role-playing games and videos games based off of a couple TV show you may have heard of such as Star Trek, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural, Doctor Who, and Sleepy Hollow.
Just for Star Trek, he's written close to 40 pieces in comic book, novel, novella, and short story forms.
Another author at the festival will be one of WBKR's former radio personalities, horror writer Matthew Alan Hughes.
The festival will be held Saturday, November 4th at the Providence Community Center and will run from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. At noon, Animal Tales will be visiting the festival, bring the kids!
