During his Tuesday, March 31st address, Governor Andy Beshear updated Kentuckians about the COVID-19 crisis in the Commonwealth.

It was a tough day as the governor announced the largest single day increase, to date, of new novel coronavirus cases.

The 114 new cases brings the Kentucky total to 594 cases. Governor Beshear also announced seven new deaths. That, plus what we learned Tuesday from the Green River District Health Department, brings today's total to eight.

Childcare options in place for first responders and medical staff have been expanded to include grocery store workers, who are also on the front line during this crisis.

Also, with warmer weather fast approaching, yard sales will be on the minds of many, but Beshear says there will be none, as part of the continuing necessity of social distancing.
