Join the Fun of GRADSA’s 28th Annual Buddy Walk This Weekend
The Green River Area Down Syndrome Association also known as GRADSA is gearing up for the 28th Annual Buddy Walk. For almost thirty years now, Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, Ohio, Union, and Webster counties have come together to celebrate October's National Down Syndrome Awareness Month. As always, the community is invited to join in the fun!
Saturday, October 25th, the day kicks off with a 5K run starting in downtown Owensboro to Moreland Park and back. Then, the party begins. A silent auction, face painting, photo booth, bounce house, petting zoo, games, food, princesses, superheroes, performers and so much more! A fun day of FUNdraising for an amazing organization and their essential programs that make a real difference in so many lives.
According to their website, "GRADSA’s mission is to enable families enriched with the Down syndrome connection to share resources, build friendships, and advocate together for the future of individuals with Down syndrome." Serving multiple counties, this annual Buddy Walk is a chance for everyone to come together as a community.
Whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does, or simply want to show your support, take the first step today – register or donate to make a difference! GRADSA Buddy Walk® Owensboro 2025 Green River Area Down Syndrome Association.
