I am so gullible, I swear! I didn't get tricked this time, but I've definitely gotten my hopes up over an image before, only to find out it is stupid AI. We have a few local satire Facebook pages that often use fake photo trickery to joke around with people.

Not gonna lie, it's a little sad how many people don't realize they are just fooling around, but that is a conversation for another day. I honestly love to see the creative way the admins joke around about issues relevant to our community. Sometimes it's a little naughty, but today it's just good ole wholesome fun.

Although it does warrant clarification. No, TV personality and Mayor of Flavortown Guy Fieri from the hit TV show Diners, Drive-ins & Dives did NOT come to Owensboro, and he did not eat at our beloved Kim's Diner. Click here to see the post in question.

OK, first off, I have to say I'm a little weirded out by how much that photo actually looks like Kim. (Other than her teeth. They seem a little...large. lol!) I guess that's why there are so many people in the comments who actually believe he was there to enjoy the legendary catfish plate.

Kim hadn't seen it yet when I texted her. She responded, "lol That would be awesome! (insert smiley heart emojis) I would DIEEEEE!" She also told me that this isn't the first time an AI photo tricked customers into thinking someone famous was at the diner. Someone posted weeks ago that Caitlyn Clark was there and Kim's phone was ringing off the hook!

I think we're onto something here, though. I'm not quite sure how to make it happen, but Guy Fieri totally needs to come eat at Kim's Diner now. He could actually probably do a whole episode of his show here in Owensboro. We've got our diners like Kim's, Dee's Diner, Windy Hollow, or Deloris'. Or he could check out the drive-ins like Gary's, Big Dipper, or, you KNOW, he would get a kick out of Wonder Whip!

For Dives? We gotta send him to Shiloh's! Where else would you suggest? We've got SO MANY AMAZING restaurants and food trucks, he could film a whole week's worth of shows! I'm really trying to shoot our shot here! Guy Fieri has been in the area before, but never to Owensboro.

You never know what could happen! Keep scrolling to see Kentucky restaurants that HAVE been featured on the Food Network.
