Can You Solve This Fun, Country Music-Inspired Halloween Mystery?

Here at WBKR, we love country music and we love Halloween. So, we're celebrating the month of October by whipping up some Halloween Havoc!  We've put together a fun mystery that, if you can solve, gives you the opportunity to win tickets to four different concerts coming to the tristate area.

Here's how Halloween Havoc is going to work. Our game is loosely based on the concept of the board game Clue. You're essentially going to work through a list of suspects (who are iconic villains from classic horror films), weapons (also from classic horror films) and victims, who represent some of your favorite country music stars that we have turned into fraidy cats.

HOW TO PLAY

Here's how the contest works. You'll have the chance to solve our Halloween Havoc mystery once per air shift each weekday until someone wins.  You'll have a chance daily at 7:25am with Angel and me, another chance at 12:25pm during The Barb Show and a third chance daily at 4:25pm during The Drive Home with Dave Spencer.  Halloween Havoc gets underway on Monday, October 17th and will continue until we get a winner.

When you hear Halloween Havoc cue-to-call, be caller #92 on our studio lines at 270-926-WBKR or 1-800-844-WBKR.  Or, you can hit CALL US on the WBKR app (but note there is a delay if you listen through the app). If you're Caller #92, you'll get the opportunity to try to solve our mystery and figure out who is causing all the Halloween Havoc- which horror movie villain scared our country music victim by using which classic horror movie weapon?

HERE'S WHAT TO SAY WHEN YOU PLAY

You'll play by guessing the correct combination of suspect, country music victim and weapon.  If you're Caller #92, make your accusation by saying this-

I THINK (insert name of suspect) SCARED (insert name of country music victim) WITH A (insert name of weapon).

If we can, we'll select one piece of the mystery that is incorrect and you can then mark that suspect, victim or weapon off your official game piece. This game is basically an elaborate process of elimination.  The player who, on the air, selects the correct suspect name, victim name and weapon will be declared the Halloween Havoc winner.
