Y'all know I LOVE me a craft fair. Fairs, festivals, markets, etc. have really become popular in the last several years. It's great for small makers and creative folks to have a place to sell their wares.

Handmade Gifts Are Unique & One of a Kind

Also, it gives us a chance to have these talented people all in one spot where we can go shopping to find treasures and one-of-a-kind items throughout the year. My favorite kinds of gifts are unique and special to the friend or family on the receiving end. A lot of times that means they're handmade.

Over 40 Local Vendors to Shop From

The Daviess County Public Library is hosting its annual Holiday Craft Fair in a couple of weeks. Event coordinator, Sarah McDuffie shared, "This community-focused event will showcase over 40 local vendors offering a variety of handcrafted items, perfect for holiday gifts and seasonal decor. With an expected turnout of around 500 visitors, it’s a fantastic opportunity for community members to support local artisans and small businesses."

Food Trucks Have Your Lunch Plans Covered

Keep scrolling for a sneak peek of those artisans and small businesses, but first I have to make you hungry. Because shopping can wear a person out and everyone loves a good food truck! Local food trucks, The Crowe's Nest and Taqueria La Bendicion De Dios will be in the parking lot so you can grab some delicious food after you've worked up an appetite knocking folks off your shopping list.

When is The Annual DCPL Winter Handmade Crafts Fair?

The Winter Handmade Crafts Fair at the Daviess County Public Library is Saturday, December 7th, from 11 am to 3 pm. Some of the vendors will be cash only, so it is recommended to stop at an ATM before you come. Here is a list of the vendors you'll be able to shop from.
