Blake Shelton's "God's Country" is his biggest hit since 2017's "I'll Name the Dogs" and it became his twenty-sixth number one single. Two of country's rising stars, HARDY, and Devin Dawson co-wrote the hit with producer/songwriter Jordan Schmidt.

I always love to hear, whether it's a hit or not, the songwriter's original take or interpretation, which HARDY's is pretty identical to Shelton's version.

See/hear for yourself:

The song's journey from composition to recording was fast, as in it was written on a Thursday and the next Monday, Shelton recorded it.
