Henderson County High School Teacher Named Teacher of the Year

WBKR congratulates Brian Sullivan, Henderson County High School AP Calculus AB teacher, for being named 2011 All American Teacher of the Year by the National Math and Science Initiative along with 22 others from across the nation. 

Brian has been teaching for 14 years, 10 of them in Henderson.  He received his  bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville. He is National Board Certified in math and is the head coach of the academic team at Henderson County High.  Brain also teaches geometry and will add AP Physics C: Mechanics, a calculus-based physics course, to his teaching schedule for next year. 

 Brian lives in Evansville with his wife Kelli, and their seven children and have another on the way.
