Henderson KY Police Search Auto Theft Suspect Caught On Camera Showing Off Tattoos
No one likes a thief but a dumb thief... well, we all can appreciate that.
Henderson Auto Theft
Henderson, Kentucky Police are asking for the help of the public to locate a man suspected in an auto theft that took place this morning, July 12, 2022.
Where It Happened
According to a post on Facebook from the Henderson Police Department, the theft occurred this morning at the EZ Shop located at the intersection of Clay Street and Atkinson Street.
The Vehicle
Unfortunately, Henderson Police did not disclose the make, model, or year of the vehicle stolen, but they did get some pretty good pictures of the suspect.
Not the Smartest Criminal
See, the man police believe to be responsible for the theft of the vehicle this morning at the EZ Shop had just been inside the business prior to the theft. That's where the photos authorities are sharing came from. He was captured on a surveillance camera.
A Time and Place for Everything
I always heard growing up that there is a time and place for everything, and I feel like that expression really fits in this situation. See, not only did the guy walk into the shop full of surveillance cameras but (and this is where that time/place saying comes in) he was actually showing off his tattoos to the employee behind the counter... while he was on camera.
Can You Identify Him?
If you can identify the suspect in the photos, the Henderson Kentucky Police Department would love to hear from you. You can contact them at 270-831-1295 or call Crime Stoppers at 270-831-1111.
