Ahh, the season of the fish fry is finally here! From March 7 - April 11, 2014 take advantage of these local Catholic churches and affiliations that are serving up the fish fry.

AMVETS Post 119 - 1400 Triplett Street, Owensboro

March 21, 28 and April 4, 11, 18 from 5:00 – 8:30 p.m.
The cost is $8 for a 2-piece fish dinner with French fries, hush puppies and slaw. One piece plates are also available for $6.

Whitesville Lions Club - Whitesville Senior Citizens Center (Highway 54 in Whitesville)

March 21, 28 and April 4, 11, 18 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
$12 for all you can eat catfish fillets with baked potato or fries, homemade slaw, homemade hush puppies and a drink. Desserts are also available. Proceeds benefit Whitesville Lions Club charities. For more information, please call 270-233-4332270-233-4332.

St. Alphonsus Annual Fish Fry and Auction

Friday, April 11th; Serving begins at 5:30 pm and live auction begins at 6:30
Fish, potatoes, slaw, hushpuppies, and homemade desserts - Adults $10; Children under 12 $5. Silent auction baskets will be available as well. Join them for great food, fellowship, fun and great auction items.

Fish fry will be hosted every Friday during Lent at the GYM in Knottsville, KY. Serving is from 4:30 – 6:15 p.m. Meal includes fish, your choice of baked potato or fries, slaw, dessert and a drink.
