Here’s How to Become a WBKR St. Jude Partner in Hope!
The annual WBKR/Window World St. Jude Radiothon heads into Day Two! And we're again asking YOU to join us in the fight against childhood cancer. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. You can support that mission and the St. Jude kids that are fighting for their lives by becoming a St. Jude Partner in Hope. There are a couple of ways to do it.
All you have to do is call 1-800-201-8883 or text the word HOPE to 626262. Becoming a St. Jude Partner is easy. This year, it's just $19 a month for 12 months on a debit or credit card. Here at WBKR, it's never been easier (and cheaper) to support the amazing mission of St. Jude.
Here's a quick look at the history of the hospital and the incredible work that your donation is making possible.
If you pledge to become a St. Jude Partner-in-Hope, you'll receive an amazing new t-shirt. The message? WE. WON'T. STOP.
And here at WBKR, we definitely won't stop raising money to help the incredible mission of St. Jude. We're again looking to YOU to join that mission.
Call 1-800-201-8883 or text HOPE to 626262. If you do, in addition to getting your official WE WON'T STOP t-shirt, you'll also get free food from Chick-fil-A in Owensboro. Plus, you'll get your name on our 2021 Green River Distilling Co. St. Jude Barrel of Hope!
And, don't forget, there's an additional way you can support WBKR's efforts to raise money for St. Jude. Jerry Morris and the Angels for Ashley Cooking Team is again having a gigantic and delicious cookout at Wesleyan Park Plaza here in the heart of Owensboro (right in front of Shoe Stop). Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we're offering DRIVE-THRU service only, but it's a great way to stock up on smoked meat for the weekend! Here's this year's menu:
Whole Boston butt- $35
Full rack of ribs- $25
Whole chickens- $10
Today, drive-thru service is open from 9am until 6pm (or until supplies are gone) at Shoe Stop at Wesleyan Park Plaza or at Whitesville Mercantile in Whitesville.
