I don't know about you, but it's been a REALLY long time since I played Hide & Seek. I always loved playing as a kid though. Finding an awesome hiding spot that no one else knew about and sticking it out to the end.
Hide & Seek Grown-up Style
Until now, there haven't been any opportunities to play the childhood game as a grown-up. At least, to my knowledge. Coming up this fall, you will have the chance to do just that, but with one heck of a twist. Your opponents? The Rockport and Spencer County Police Department.
When is Hide & Seek From The Police?
Normally hiding from the cops would be frowned upon, but on October 12th, you will have permission for the sake of a good cause. Anyone over the age of 15 can participate in Hide & Seek From the Police. At 4 PM, players will gather at 426 Main Street in Rockport, IN, and then be released onto the printed grid.
What Happens If You Are Found While Playing Hide & Seek?
You have to stay within the specified area during the game and all hiding places must be outside. If a police officer catches you, you are taken to the "jail." In order to play again, you must be bonded out for $10. All proceeds from the event will benefit Christmas on the Rock. Rockport's annual Christmas celebration and parade
