I mean, seriously HOW CUTE are these baby cows? My friend Ashley sent me a Facebook post from an area farm that is hosting cuddle sessions with calves and let me just say, I need this in my life.

You know the person in the car who just HAS to point out the cows while passing them on the side of the road? That's me. They are just the sweetest funniest animals with their big precious eyes and quirky personalities. It would be an absolute dream to snuggle some.

If you're like me, Cottonwood Ridge can make that dream come true! This quaint family farm in Boonville, Indiana has a little bit of everything.  Danni and Tyler Gerber officially started Cottonwood Ridge Farms in 2022. They both have kept livestock their whole lives. Now they have dairy goats, Jersey cattle, Orpington chickens, Cayuga ducks, and more. They sell eggs, "happy bacon", and even local honey which is great if you suffer from seasonal allergies.

They also serve up a whole lotta fun with their mobile petting zoo. Perfect for birthday parties, work parties, reunions, church events, block parties, you name it. You can also visit Cottonwood Ridge for sessions like their fall cow cuddling events. The September sessions filled up FAST, so they have added new available dates to the calendar.

LOOK: Here are the pets banned in each state

Because the regulation of exotic animals is left to states, some organizations, including The Humane Society of the United States, advocate for federal, standardized legislation that would ban owning large cats, bears, primates, and large poisonous snakes as pets.

Read on to see which pets are banned in your home state, as well as across the nation.
