Here’s Where You Can Visit a Life-Sized Polly Pocket House [See Inside!]
Growing up as a 90's kid, I was OBSESSED with Polly Pockets. The teeny tiny toys featured various shaped compacts which opened up to reveal homes or shops or magical worlds. All for Polly and her friends. I still have most of mine thanks to my mother! My son, Rollins, loved them when he was in Kindergarten and now they live in my office for anyone who wants to come play.
Oh man, those commercials take me BACK! That jingle! The little Pollyville! There has definitely been an evolution of Polly throughout the years. She got a little bigger, grew a wardrobe of clothes you could change her in and out of. They were super stretchy and rubbery and there was a running joke about how some kids had the urge to chew on them.
A lot of folks who used to play with Polly Pockets still have really strong fond memories of them. I know I sure do. If that's you, you may want to plan a road trip in your future to a brand new AirBNB that is INCREDIBLE. A life-sized Polly Pocket house!
This 42-foot tall "Slumber Party Fun" themed compact in Polly's hometown of Littleton, Massachusetts is complete with a bracelet-making station, vanity, retro fridge like Polly had, and even a closet with her iconic rubbery wardrobe! It was built to celebrate Polly's 35th birthday this year.
Part of AirBNBs Icons series of rentals that resemble homes from your favorite movies and tv shows like UP!, Prince's Purple Rain House, The X-Men Mansion, and more. You can rent Polly Pocket's Compact House during the day to just visit and explore or you can stay the night just steps away in the Action Tent. Visit AirBNB.com for more info and to book.
