In 2022, Holiday World & Splashin' Safari unveiled its Holidays in the Sky Drone Show. At 300 drones strong, the show was incredible and gave guests a thrilling new experience inside the park.

Since its debut, Holidays in the Sky has been growing and, this year, will become the nation's first audience-participation show. Speaking of growing, that show now features 500 drones and the first show of the 2024 season is Saturday, June 22nd. It will run 44 nights, weather permitting, through Sunday, August 4th.

So how does the 'audience-participation' part work? There will be QR codes inside the park and guests will be able to vote for which of the parks' mascots will be featured in the show that night.  According to park officials, voting begins daily when the park opens and concludes at 5pm CDT. Those votes will ultimately determine one of the final scenes in that evening's show.

For the best views of the drone and fireworks show, guests are encouraged to check out the Party Plaza, which is located north of the park's brand new attraction, Good Gravy!

Good Gravy! is the park's first family roller coaster. It's a boomerang coaster that propels guests through an incredible (and appetizing) trip through Thanksgiving. There's a giant whisk, a giant carton of stuffing, a massive can of cranberry sauce and more.
