These Hollywood Stars Have Homes in and Around Nashville

Off the top of my head, I'm going to say that, here in the U.S., the top entertainment cities are Los Angeles, New York City, and Nashville. I have no official data, but I have a brain, and that simply makes sense.

If I wrote a story about Hollywood stars who have homes in L.A. of the Big Apple, we'd be enumerating the list entries for the rest of the year, and then some. While Nashville can't claim what those two can, its drawing power as an entertainment capital could be why as many Hollywood stars have homes in Tennessee as they do. And most of them can be found in and around Music City.

Nicole Kidman

The Oscar and Emmy winner and her longtime husband, country music superstar Keith Urban, have owned a home in Nashville since the 2000s. With additional residences in New York City, Beverly Hills and Sydney, Australia, the power couple divides their time between the four. But they're not exactly Music City recluses. Many have spotted one or both of them out shopping, and Nicole and I used to have the same favorite Nashville restaurant, South Street, before it closed and was demolished. It had even named a breakfast order after her.

Reese Witherspoon

The Nashville native's love of her hometown knows no bounds, so it isn't surprising that the Oscar-winning superstar keeps a place in Music City. In 2015, Reese launched a southern-inspired clothing line called Draper James. She opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Nashville the same year.
