Home Safaris with the Cincinnati Zoo Offered During Quarantine [VIDEO]
Being stuck at home during the coronavirus outbreak doesn't mean that you can't have fun. Although the kids won't have the opportunity to feed the animals, they can watch them live every day. You can help keep your kids learning and engaged.
Bring a little education, zoo activities and cute animals into your home during self-quarantine. While having a fun time exploring the zoo, kids will also have the chance to do various activities related to the live-stream topic. Basically, every afternoon at 2 p.m. the Cincinnati Zoo will stream a live Home Safari on its Facebook page. You can also go to the Cincinnati Zoo YouTube page if you miss any videos. Push play and take a fun adventure!
After the kids watch the video, keep the fun coming. Some of the activities include, how to make Rhino Handprint Art, a Penguin Relay Race or Collect Leaves to Recreate a Sloth. There are so many fun activities available to keep your children entertained.
You can hang with the Sloths at home.
How about a Penguin Parade?
You can meet a prickly porcupine named Rico.
Thank you to the Cincinnati Zoo for being so creative, and supplying families some much needed fun during this difficult time.
