While the travelers are headed off to places far and wide, many of us will be breaking here in Owensboro. Here are some options for home town entertainment.

Edge Ice Rink will host a, "Schools Out Public Session" from Noon till 5:00 p.m. Monday April 6 through Friday, April 10 Admission is $3.00 per person.

The Owensboro Museum of Science and History has many different activities planned for the Spring Break week. Tuesday April 7, through Saturday April 11, 2015.  See the website at www.owensboromuseum.org to get details on Naturalist Art, Make a Pinata, Spring Babies Live Animal Show and Cave Scavenger Hunt! There are special events planned around the theme, "Spring Break is for the Birds". Click on, "Inside the OMSH" for a drop-down and click Newsletter to download the details!

Daviess County Public Library kicks off the Spring Break week with a drop in make and take craft Saturday, April 4 for kids ages 0 to 12 years.  Stop by anytime between 9:00 a.m and 6:00 p.m. to let the kids make a craft. Return on Monday to  begin a Mad Scientist Scavenger Hunt that will continue through the week. There is also the, "Wee Read" program on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m.

Also check out Saturday Morning Live each Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. These are self guided fun and educational activities for children ages 0 to 12 years. www.dcplibrary.org
