Huge Owensboro Consignment Sale Returns With Great Deals on Clothes, Toys, Home Decor & More

This is the understatement of the century here, but man kids are expensive. I hate to complain about my son growing fast because I am thankful to have a healthy child, but his clothes seem to shrink as soon as I buy them. I'm sure some of y'all can relate!

If you're a parent in Owensboro or the surrounding areas, you probably also know about the gigantic consignment sale that happens every Spring and Fall.  The Tot, The Teen, & The Wardrobe has saved me tons of money over the years buying nice, secondhand clothes for Rollins. When he was just a baby, I remember wearing him in a baby carrier on my back while shopping.

After a few years hiatus due to COVID, new organizers have taken over the event because they missed participating so much. Nicole Murphy and Dana Wilson loved the opportunity to purge their houses and help other families get some great deals on clothes, shoes, baby gear, etc. Home decor, sporting equipment, and furniture is also included in the sale.

Nicole shared, "I knew that if we missed it, there were probably others who did as well. And here we are! Spring 2024 was our first time hosting and we had almost 200 consignors with over 20,000 items on our sales floor! Our goal is to grow every season and provide the best experience for our consignors and shoppers. We’re just getting started!" They are gearing up for the upcoming Fall sale to be held at The Owensboro Convention Center October 25th-27th, 2024.

I have a friend who participates as a consigner every year to make a little money and clear out closets, and she loves it. One of the cool things about selling is that you get a pass to shop before the sale is open to the public. Nicole also shared some other perks, "Our shoppers can expect to save anywhere from 50-90% off retail prices and we love putting money back into our consignors pockets. Consignors earn 65% commission from the sale of their items and could earn up to 70% by working 3 shifts with us."
